As we approach the longest night with winter solstice, our team humbly reflects on this past year, and the continued bold leadership of our Nations. Recently, FNFA’s loan portfolio surpassed $4 billion in affordable financing to support building our members’ priorities. The dedicated guidance of our board of directors and team over the years has supported successfully raising the funds through the capital markets for investment into Nation-building projects—creating an estimated 39,000 jobs and contributing close to $8.5 billion to Canada’s economy.
