Is’sapom ahksika Chief Crowfoot Elementary School
Future forward – a 35,725 sq. ft. K-7 school dedicated to integrating Siksika teachings into the Alberta curriculum, serving 200 students, 14 classrooms, computer lab, gym, library, cafeteria, and Elder’s room.
Honouring Chief Isapo-muxika (Crowfoot) – named after the Siksika leader who signed Treaty 7 in 1877, the school’s architecture reflects the land’s beauty and Blackfoot Traditions, reminding us that education is also about community and belonging.
"We finally get a school that we've been fighting so many years for."
~ the late Mrs. Geraldine Red Gun, former teacher
